Faculty of Engineering Occupational Safety and Health Organizational Chart 2026

In alignment with the principles of OSHEC, Universiti Malaya, the Faculty of Engineering has established the Safety and Health Committee. The committee is chaired by the Dean of the Faculty, Professor Ir Dr Nik Nazri bin Nik Ghazali, and the Deputy Dean (Development), Associate Professor Ir Dr Nasrul Anuar Abd Razak. It comprises ten appointed members representing both management and employee groups, with representatives selected from each department to ensure broad participation and effective communication on occupational safety and health matters across the faculty. The Committee provides a formal platform for consultation and collaboration between management and staff on occupational safety and health matters, with the objective of promoting a safe, healthy, and compliant working environment across the faculty. The Committee is required to convene at least one internal meeting annually to discuss pertinent issues and to review or update matters related to occupational safety and health within the faculty.
